Is it dangerous (due to build up of bacteria) or does it just not taste as nice?!

  1. The Bacteria is the correct answer to that....and it just takes longer to cook.

  2. It can be cooked frozen it's just is harder to cook through. If you cook it frozen make sure you use a meat thermometer to bring it to the correct temp. for the kind of meat it is.

  3. Thawed meat cooks faster and more even than if you tried to cook frozen meat. The frozen meat might overcook on the outside but still be cold in the middle... not to mention take forever! I suppose if you are cooking in a microwave this might not be such a problem.

  4. well...you wouldn't eat undercooked meat would you?

say the meat in question takes 15 minutes to cook from chilled. if you cook it for 15 from frozen, it could take, for example, 10 minutes to completely defrost. then that means you've only cooked it for 5 minutes - which ain't enough!

  5. Bacteria, food poisoning and some more stuff but i do not that it is not good

  6. if it's not defrosted the meat won't cook properly. the outside will be cooked but the inside will be undercooked. if you cook it longer the meat is just dry.

  7. It doesn't it can be cooked from frozen with only a few exceptions, bacteria does not grow at sub zero temperatures although the cold does not kill all spores and bacterial strains. The problem is that most cooking instructions are not for frozen starts and if people do not thaw the meat properly they do not cook it right the way through. Normally cooking from frozen requires a lower cooking heat and a longer time, something most people are unwilling to do.

  8. It won't cook evenly, part of it will be raw and part will be burned. But it's more of a problem with larger pieces of meat. It is possible to cook thin pieces of meat from frozen and it should still turn out okay, you just have to watch it carefully and maybe start at a lower temperature. You shouldn't really cook any type of fish or seafood from frozen though unless the package specifically says you can. Fish is just too delicate and has a high water content, so it is especially difficult to cook fish from frozen.

  9. becoz it will b raw if not -x

  10. it doesnt cook through. The outside is overcooked and the inside is still raw.

  11. the bacteria has a larger time  window in which to multiply. A definate NO NO!
