Why does middle class get screwed by the government all the time?

rich. has money to pay for education

Poor ..government pays for education

Middle class no help from govt. can not afford to go or.. pays for the rest of their lives!

The middle class does get a raw deal at a lot of colleges. Family contribution assumes savings for college which many middle class families in high cost areas can't achieve. Some colleges, the ivies for example, Stanford and a few others have new financial aid initiatives which make it easier for the middle class to attend.

I think the fact the middle class CAN pay for the rest of their lives makes them not poor, I guess.

because the middle class has just as much a chance to fight agaist gov.as the poor do!
