  1. Silly, milk is not stroed inside the cow. It is produced then and there by the mammary glands.

  2. Any time you transfer a natural fluid from it's original container, it will degrade. You have to remember that milk has gone through several stages in processing before it reaches your store. Pasteurization and homogenization to name just two. You can buy sterilized milk that has been treated to be used at room temperature, however it must be refrigerated after it's been opened. 3. It is the blood of the cow. Hence it does not spoil. This question may also apply to human.

    Does a mother's milk spoil ?

  4. The same reason that milk doesn't spoil inside the body of any human or animal who produces it.  It is a fact of nature and what the body of the milk producer is intended for.  I don't know whether a scientist could duplicate the process; it would never be as perfect as the way God made it anyway.  I don't think the setting of the temperature in the refrigerator would keep it from spoiling anyway.  If a lactating mother pumps milk from her b*****s and stores it in the refrigerator, it is OK for use within a limited time; you wouldn't store it at her body temperature, or it would spoil also.  I sure it is the same with milk from a cow.

  5. A cow which is late for her milking, will drip her milk out.

If not milked, she will drip until her udder dries up, some will be absorbed by her body, just as in human moms.  If per chance, she doesn't drip enough milk, the udder will become inflamed (swollen & very warm to touch).  Then a vet is called to give her a shot to dry her up.  (Inflamation is in a sense spoilage.)

So there really is no lengthy healthy storage in the udder, at least not as long as storage in the frig.
