  1. A sealed bottle of water retains its qualities until it is opened.  However, it gets "stale", and the taste of the water is altered after long storage.

  2. Because it's not triclking anymore.

    It will eventually break down

But let me say that the expiration is way, way to short.

    ( with almost everything).

    Here an even better one.

Honey( the only food that never goes bad) now has an expiration date?

Nowe thats unbelievable considering that honey 5,000 years old is still perfectly good.

FDA( I wonder if they're all about money or are they really trying to protect us).

    The former no doubt.

  3. Maybe the exposure to the plastic bottle, and quite possibly heat and temperate changes while in aforementioned bottle - affect taste negatively..

I can't imagine that it would become "spoiled" or "toxic", but it may become unpleasant and turn the individual consuming it off that particular brand and/or product.. To prevent this, at the estimated time of product "turning", the company would put a "use by" date.

    Just a guess!

  4. because of the plastic bottle its in.
