  1. Because the plastic bottle leaches plasticides that give plastic it`s plasticity,,this taints the water,,the same happens with clingfilm when in direct contact with food

  2. so if any bacteria or viruses entered the water and grew there the maker of the water wont be sued

  3. water is the devils work, stick to alcohol

  4. It doesn't

Well none of my bottles do.

    .

  5. bottled water never goes out of date, maybe you read it wrong

  6. So you can buy it cheaply when it goes out of date.

  7. Absolutely no idea. Must be a sales ploy

  8. lol, Dave some of the answers are priceless, love it...

To answer your question, there is always the presence of tiny algae, spores and bacteria in spring water, which react with sunlight, they grow and continue to grow over time, if the water is aerated then the problem is lessened.

But if the bottle remains closed then the water becomes saturated

So a date is set as a safe margin

  9. So true ...... it water itself has parasites in it that can't be filtered out ....... it is safe for a short amount of time but they do grow unsafe after awhile ...... as well as the water being in a plastic bottle which allows bacteria and heat to infultrate the plastic bottle ....... all that is why bottled water does have expiration dates ...... = )

  10. Good question! Might be something to do with the plastic bottles, or it's just a scam so that we buy more : )
