Question:

Why does my 1994 Olds 88 keep stalling occasionally?

This car stalls occasionally (3 times a week), and is getting increasingly difficult to restart. Sensors have been replaced, but it still does the same thing. With new brakes and sensors etc. we're into it now $1100. Any advice? (besides replacing it.)

  1. Have your fuel preasure checked. and also check for volume. I have also seen crank shaft position sensors get inter mittent and act like that also. good luck . Jake.

  2. Fuel filter Plugged parcially.

  3. fuel pump

  4. Check the crankshaft position senser. When it stalls, blow some cold air on it, it should restart! It is a pretty cheap fix and fairly common problem on a ride of this age!
