  1. check the quality of the images. it might be high quality, which takes up more space

  2. Three photos and it's full?

Are the old photos still there (even after it's downloaded to your computer, they're not normally deleted from the card).

  3. Despite what some of the other answers said, it isn't the resolution setting on your camera.  I have a pro camera and often shoot both RAW and .jpg at the same time and my files are never more than 20MB, which would be 100 pix on a 2GB card.

Anway, I would suggest reformatting the card.  Sounds like there is something on it taking up all your space.

  4. Are you downloading directly from the camera , or by using a card reader? If you are downloading from a card reader, how do you clear the photos from the card?

If you drag them to the trash or recycle bin, do you then remember to empty the trash? If you have trashed the images, but not emptied the trash, it will not release the memory those photos are taking up.

  5. Check the picture setting. Did you set it to RAW by accident?

You can also reformat the memory card.

  6. First make sure all the images are downloaded off the card, and then format it using the camera.  I suspect it needs a reformat and only some of the space is currently available.

  7. yeah it's definitely not the camera, def. the card. No camera exists at this point that would fill up a 2gb card in 3 pics. reformat it or try a new one.

  8. you have your resolution settings too high on your camera.
