  1. Tell your brother to watch the DOG WHISPERER hes AWESOME and aren't beagle pups soooo cute i was one thats 1 1/2 years old and i LOVE HER lol umm as for the paper my beagle loved to rip it up too they grow out of it its just something to play with and they like the feeling on ther mouths :) hope it helped :):)

  2. He's a puppy, it's natural for him to want to chew/eat certain things. Just keep telling him no and take it away while replacing it with a toy or bone. Don't forget to praise him when he plays with the toy/bone instead. Remove temptations from his reach, such as paper.

Don't resort to physical rep remanding, there are better methods.

"I use a technique that was being used by Daniel Stevens of SitStayFetch that has proven very effective. If you see your puppy chewing on the coffee table, stop him with a firm no and offer a toy as replacement. Give praise and encouragement when he starts chewing on his toy. When I give a replacement toy, I move him away from the furniture."

Keep him stimulated mentally and physically because there are several reasons why he might be chewing..most common  for a puppy is probably boredom or teething. You can refer to the source to learn more.

  4. Some dogs just like paper. My dog LOVES toilet paper! It's not a huge issue, but do take it away, as it will not go well in his intestines.

As to biting, well, it's a puppy. He's teething! I will give you two suggestions:

    1. Get a spray water bottle at the dollar store. Fill it with water and set it on stream, not spray. When your puppy does something you don't want him to do, spray him (once) and correct him. The water will get his attention but not hurt him.

    2. Get a few washcloths. Wet them, curl turn into a circle and put them in the freezer. When frozen (they don't freeze hard like an ice cube) give one to your puppy to chew on. When it's thawed, refreeze it. It helps with teething and related pain.

    Good luck with your puppy!
