Why does my 2 month old kitten shiver?

My cat always shivers on his legs and back usually when he's eating.

Are you feeding your cat food from the fridge?  If so you might want to warm it up in the microwave or add a little bit of hot water to it.  It sounds like your kitten is getting cold from the food.  You should be putting down lots of food for your kitten and feeding them at least 3 times a day.  If you aren't feeding them that often he could be shivering because he's really hungry.
