Why does my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee cooling fan motor won't shut off even after car is off and cooled down?

The fan control relay is probably bad.  Mine failed and when I pulled the fuse in the under-hood fusebox it shut off.  When I put the fuse back it would no longer turn on, even when needed.  The part is ~$35 online but having a shop replace it may cost you big $$ due to the crazy location of the part.  For the cheaper DIY fix, check here:  http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=5992199#post5992199
