Why does my 360 keep showing the red ring of overheating?

I bought an intercooler for my xbox 360 and I also put a fan on full blast right next to it and it still stops my game and shows the red ring of overheating, what do I do?

i think u mean the red ring of death but u might be getting it cuz its over heating but anyway what you can do is send it in to Microsoft cuz they give it a life time warranty if it gets the red ring so instead of waiting a week send it to Microsoft and itll take about a week

turn it off and do not play it for about a month no just kidding just don't play for about a week serious and make sure it is off for a whole week
