  1. First off, you got your puppy at way too young an age. Are his vaccines up to date? Has he had a distemper shot at all? Check that first? Even if he has, he's at a huge risk for Parvo disease. Bloody watery stools are the first sign. Don't wait until Friday to take him to the vet. Especially if he starts to vomit or seems lethargic or stops eating. But I have seen a lot of Parvo puppies who only present with bloody watery stool and no other symptoms at first. The sooner he is treated, the better his outcome. Parvo can be very deadly. Look it up on the internet. Call the vet and explain the young age of your puppy, tell them the vaccine history and stress that your puppy has watery, bloody stools. The vet's office should immediately recognize the severity of the situation and get you in right away. If they don't, find another vet.

  2. Does he eat?

    Does he drink a lot?

    Is he lethargic or playful?

Does he vomit?Does he have vaccinations? For what diseases?

    What do you feed him?

There is a threat of parvo, which has not well outlooks, even when your puppy is such young. You should act now...

    If it's parvo>>>

    - no food

    - sufficiency of water

    - antibiotics given by vet

Wish you and your puppy good luck!

  3. I'd call your vet and get your puppy in TODAY- and bring a stool sample.  If they can't fit you in- be sure to tell them he is ill- try another vet practice.  I would be worried about intestinal parasites, or parvo or corona viruses.

  4. I would make an EMERGENCY visit to the vet!  Blood in watery stool is a sign of a potencially serious condition.  I, myself, would not risk it and wait until your Friday appointment.

  5. He's most likely got worms or another parasite.  Call your Vet and tell them what is going on - They'll most likely request that you bring in a stool sample for testing prior to his Friday appointment, then give you a dewormer to give him.

  6. you need to call and notify the vet and they should fit him in sooner. if not, call and find a new vet.

  7. first. 7 weeks is WAY too young for a small breed dog to be away from its mother. Second, your puppy most likely has Parvo. You need to call the vet, tell them that the puppy may have parvo, and they will tell you to call when you get there, since it is contagious and have you come in a different entrance.

  8. So long as he's in no apparent physical distress, and it's still drinking plenty of water, there is no abdominal distention  and the bleeding is only traces, it shouldn't be unreasonable to wait till Friday.  You should always have a new dog checked out by your vet, and should have regular wellness visits, at least once a year.  Generally, a little blood in the stool can result from eating something inappropriate, or a minor rectal tear, and isn't serious.  But if it's more than just a trace, or if it happens with every bowel movement, or the amount increases, you need to take the pup to the vet promptly, even if that means an emergency facility.  Though most vets will fit you in when the difficulty is potentially urgent.

  9. Take him to the vet.  One sign of Parvo, a life threatening illness for puppies, watery, bloody, stool.  Parvo can hit puppies very young and it moves very quickly.  I'm not saying that is definitely what the problem is, but what is the harm in rushing him in?  You will get peace of mind and the puppy will be well sooner if it is something less severe.

  10. Blood in the stool is usually a sign of a serious problem.  I would suggest calling your vet and letting them know and see if they can work you in sooner.

  11. Call your  vet make it sooner  has worms needs to be on meds  asap Good  luck
