Why does my 95 jeep cherokee jerks when going 5 or 10mph?

When i am like in a parking lot or just accelerating from a stop my jeep kinda jerks a little until i give it a lot of gas! I just bought it a few days ago! It has like 153,000 miles on it. It's a v-6, not sure of the engine size!

  1. definitely a transmission problem.its not shifting gears- thats why it jerks. if you are located in ga we can help you!
