  1. more than likely it's transmission fluid in the water system,  the transmission fluid shares the same RADIATOR that cools the water.

there is probably a leak in the radiator that's allowing the trans fluid to enter the system.

check your transmission fluid level also.

    good luck to ya

  2. Only three ways for oil to get into the antifreeze on that car...

    1. Someone put it in there by mistake.

    2. Someone overtightened the oil filter and crushed the oil cooler. The oil cooler works by transferring the heat out of the oil into the antifreeze, and if it's crushed the oil and antifreeze will mix. This will ususally also get antifreeze in the engine oil... which is VERY bad for the engine.

    3. The head gasket is leaking between the oil channel and and antifreeze passage. This can be caused by overheating or running low on antifreeze sometime in the past. It also occasionally happens at high mileage for no apparent reason, but that's rare. This will also usually get antifreeze in the oil, which is bad and will ruin the engine bearings.

Either way, get it checked out, and at the least change your antifreeze and oil.

  3. becuase you have a blown head gasket
