I seem to have this problem with my Laptop running on Vista. I go to an internet site (Using Internet Explorer), and i will get a message like the following...

Hello, you have an old version of Adobe Flash Player. To use iPaper (and lots of other stuff on the web) you need to get the latest Flash player.

I then go to the Adobe website and download the latest Flash player. I then go back to the site after restarting the browser, and i get the SAME MESSAGE!!!!!

I have tried uninstalling flash and then reinstalling, aswell as computer restarts and shutdowns... still Same bloudy message!

What can I do...?

Note: this works fine! when im using mozilla firefox, but i want to be able to use watch things on IE that need Flash player...

Any ideas ppl?

  1. It is a ussual problems, especially in windows vista, has to do with permission, some people resolve it by turning the user account control off, however, I preffer an easier method.

First, try uninstalling the player using the control panel.

then, create a new internet shortcut and right click on it, select properties, and click in the shortcut tab... select advance and then click in run as an administrator.

go to youtube and install the flash player, the installation should allow you to see the videos now.

    Cheers

  2. Go to the website in the source im giving you and you will be able to install it perfectly. 100% safe and secure. I use it all the time. If it works thank me.
