Why does my Bearded Dragon eat tiny rocks when outside? Is this necessary, or harmful? Definitely strange.

  1. Im sure it is harmfull. I do know that dogs will sometimes eat small pepples to help break up food and make it easier to digest but never heard of a lizard of any sorts doin it.


  2. it's not good they can get a impaction that can lead to painful swelling and even death I would do what I can to stop him/her

  3. bearded dragons will pick up anything and eat it, its not good they can get impacted you have to stop her it has to come back out somewhere or its gonna be stuck inside her and they only way thats gonna come out is when she has  number 2 and thats gonna be painful, maybe this is part of the reason shes not laying??? i dont know, best to get her checked by a vet to be safe xx
