u probably need to train him, put him on top of the toilet before he poops and give him a treate for he can know he did the right thing.

my son was a pants pooper. just wouldn't go to the bathroom.

then he had a go on someone's rollerskates.

he decided he wanted some skates.

so we told him that if he made a calendar page of happy faces (from clean pants), then he could have some.

i have no idea why he pooped in his pants, but as soon as the incentive was there, he stopped.

HE MAY HAVE IBS. (IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME)  MY 7 YEAR OLD DOES IT ON OCCASION.  HE GETS REALLY BAD STOMACH ACHES AND JUST CANT MAKE IT.  TRY TALKING TO HIS PEDIATRICIAN

A lot of the time it is purely a control issue. Keep in mind that this is not an unusual behavior, many children feel that this is something they can control within their environments and then get embarrassed when they soil themselves. There is a medical condition to which this will occur, but it is highly unlikely the child has it. The worse thing for  the parents to do is get mad at the child and tell him he's bad. The child already knows your disappointed in him, so be calm. Talk to your pediatrician for advice and carry extra clothes and a plastic bag.

Because he still wants to be a baby, my advice is to give him more disipline and if you see it one more time, Train him over and give him diapers again, suddenly he'll remember how awful it is to have to p**p in a diaper and have you change him!!!
