Why does my GTA IV for PS3 keep freezing.

i bout GTA IV for ps3 and i kept freezing. so i rented one from blockbuster and its still freezing! but all of my other games work. so it must be the game. are there any cleaners that i could buy to clean the game system?

It's a known issue with GTA IV. If your PS3 is connected to internet, it'll download an update automatically.

did you DL the patch for GTA 4 & the updates for your PS3?

do you have your PS3 at version 2.42?

have you updated GTA4 to version 1.02?

GTA4 version 1.0 has alot of freezing problems! thats why its been updated

Have you updated the ps3 lately?

Did you buy one of the orignial ps3's the 20gb or 60gb?

Try updating the ps3 to the new version I think its like 2.4 or something, and try it out.

Otherwise if you have the orignial ps3's they were known for a lot of glitches, I mean a lot, thats why they are no longer making them.  So try to exchange your ps3, or send it into sony to fix.
