Question:

Why does my HD Radio Skip?

My old radio on the stations I listen too never got a bad signal, I get a HD radio for better quality and I guess it randomly loses its signal, even when I sit stationary in my car it will skip briefly losing its signal, even switching from Stereo or Mono. Why would this new name brand radio be worse?

I am confident the Antenna wire is hooked up properly, that's like the easiest part of the whole insulation, I had it done at the place I bought the radio

  1. the first responder is absolutely correct...go back to the store and had the device look at...good luck

  2. Go back to the store where you bought and installed it. Have them look it over. I bet your ant is loose or your reciever / stereo has an intermitant and you need another.

Just because its new doesnt mean quality control caught the intermitant at the factory.
