Why does my Linksys router keep dropping connection?

My Linksys router worked just fine until I purchased a webcam and started broadcasting online and I started losing connection to the router. I'd have to reset everything. I even uninstalled the webcam software and changed my settings back the way it was, and it still drops. Especially when my computer has been idle for a while. So I downloaded Driver Detective, and it said I had a wireless lan driver that was outdated, so I downloaded and installed the driver. My question is do you think that was my problem? the outdated driver? or do I have another problem all together. Not very good with computers here so sorry if I haven't given you enough information.

i had that problem with my router too but it was a problem came from my Internet provider.

in your case i don't know much about it but uninstall router and reinstall it again.

try it.
