Why does my PSP keep switchin off after the first level of ratchet and clank: size matters?

after completing the first level of ratchet and clank:size matters, my psp just switches off. just before the game is supposed to save. can someone please help me with this problem?

First off... is your PSP charged?

Second off... are there any scratches on the game disk?

Third off... when I played the game, something was wrong with my PSP, so it would never let me run and would make me always go to the right. When I traded in my PSP for a new one, everything was normal. I would test it on a different PSP, and if it is lets you beat the rest of the game, trade your PSP in for a new one. If it doesn't work on another PSP, get a new Size Matters. Also, this is the same thing that happened in star wars battlefront, and that game worked when I traded in my PSP.

P.S. Check to see if other games work on your PSP, and if so, it probably is just Size Matters
