Why does my RCA t.v. turns off and on for no reason?

  1. Lots of reasons. Broken wire, broken tracks on electronics, faulty componets, faulty remote unit etc. Cover up the electronic sensor of the remote control unit, in this fashion it may be interfetrence. The electronic sensor is usually behind a little shiny dark glass on the front of tv.


  2. does it do it at certain time all the time or is it anytime?

    could it be a timer feature on your tv doing this?
