Why does my Rainbow Lorikeet hiss at people?

My bird screeches and hisses is this because he is agro or scared? He settles down after a while.

god there is some stupid people with stupid comments on here! hissing is normal they do it when excited and happy

Okay firslty, the rainbow lorikeet isn't weird or anything like that. It's normal for lorikeets to hiss. It's what they do. It doesn't mean that they are scared or anything like that. Sometimes it can just mean that they are excited or if they are playing around they can hiss as well. Don't worry your lorikeet is fine! :)
