Every time I turn off my lights in the living room the smoke detector starts to intermittently beep. Can't seem to figure it out as when I am in the room there is no sound but after I turn off the lights and go to sleep it starts to beep after a while. Can anyone explain or is having the same problem?

  1. sounds like your smoke detector is getting power from the lights. they beep when there is no power so im guessing this is your prob

  2. What Bobby said plus your battery needs replaced

  3. Just a guess... but, it sounds like the smoke detector is getting its power from your living room light.  If so, then when you flip off the light, it disconnects the power flow to the smoke detector (which probably switches over to a battery backup power supply).

  4. If what Bobby suggested is true, then the detector was wired incorrectly. It is, required by code, to be installed to steady, unswitched power. Maybe take a look when you are changing the battery and see if the unit is on the switch leg rather than a hot leg.

  5. Ground Metal Detector--MD5008

It can detect and identify the metals under ground

It has ground balance setting, which will eliminate the affect of “Mineralization reaction”.

It can distinguish ferrous metal and non-ferrous metals.
