Why does my Sony Cybershot DSC-P200 not take good pics in the dark?! PLEASE help!I've tried all the settings!

It's great outside, yet indoors or in the dark the pictures are either too dark, bright, or blurry. Sometimes the background will appear great but the faces are way too bright; and you can't make them out...

  1. Not many cameras can take good dark pictures.  You may want a higher ISO and longer shutter speed, if all else fails, increase the intensity of the flash.  Set it to automatically choose settings also, that may help too.


  2. The reason why is because it is a compact camera.  So it doesn't perform well in low light.  Digital SLR's are the only cameras that perform well in low light.
