  1. Sounds like a bad board in the TV. You can repair it or you may want to get a new digital TV.


  2. Is it  still covered by warrantee? If so, return it.

    If its old it might just have worn out parts, or you could buy a surge protector as power surges might be causing it to shut down.

  3. You have LOOSE solder on your Horizontal output circuit or your power supply...

    OR

    You have a temperature sensitive regulator.

    One or the other...

    It doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get these problems fixed....
