Why does my UPS package...?

Why does my UPS package go from Memphis, then Dallas Then back to Memphis. Its my Xbox 360... See this is what my track thing says

Because one of UPS's drones screwed up and tossed it on the wrong conveyor belt, and it went in the wrong truck.

could be where you ordered it from. (the business). could have been an error as well.

I hate to tell you, but your package was mis-routed back to Memphis.  For some reason, it didn't remain in Dallas as it should have and UPS has to resend it to Dallas.

This happens more often than UPS would like to admit.  I once sent a package to my brother's house and UPS misrouted it 3 times.  I called to find out what was going on adn got the initial brushoff UPS always gives.  What they didn't know is I've been shipping with UPS for 15 years and know their systems as well as they do.  

This package passed through Louisville, which means it may be an air package.  Even if it isn't air, UPS has guaranteed shiiping times for commercial packages and the shipper can call and request a refund, which they should pass along to you, since they didn't have to pay shipping.
