  1. No pain no gain!

    Are you a beginner guitarist?

If you are, you should get used to it after awhile and it will start to hurt less.

  2. Could be tendinitis, bursitis or carpal tunnel.  Try wearing a brace (you can buy at the drug store) on your wrist while sleeping.  This may relax the muscles and let the tendons stretch enough for this activity.  Also talk with your doctor.

  3. If you are new to guitar, the muscles in you wrist are not strong enough and have not been worked out enough. With time, your endurance will increase, but if you want to speed up the process, go but a grip master, i used one when i started to strengthen my fingers and wrists. Once you get it, you can go online and it will show you different exercises you can do to improve endurance and strength.

  4. It's how you're holding the guitar: your thumb should be right in the middle of the back of the neck.

  5. You want help, play through the pain. I play bass, and I personally believe the pain in the wrist is worse, but I played through it and now i could probably play for an entire day straight with no problem.

  6. Idk mine does it too. =[
