  1. it could be the disc of the game you are playing, try again later.

  2. Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX

Chances are you can get a warranty repair.

  3. exactly why when mine did tjhat i was not gonna get pissed about it and got a ps3 instead

  4. omg that happened to me ur harddrive is broken!=]

  5. Next time don't spill your milk on it!!!

  6. its overloaded, damaged from dropping, or it is gltiched

  7. its messed up that is a big problem with 360 if you call xbox they will have you send it back and fix it for you.

  8. my husband has had an xbox and xbox 360 and both did this a LOT!  he finally traded them both for a ps 2 and has been really happy.  apparently, this is a well known problem with the xbox systems.  i'm sorry---you might consider just getting a new game system if it really bothers you---there's nothing you can do to make it stop to my knowledge.

  9. its overheating ...get one of those externallly mounted fans about $20 at walmart or target

  10. More detail please.  Is it freezing when you've been playing a long time or is it just freezing randomly or is it freezing only on certain games?  WAY too broad.  Please clarify.

  11. If you have already tried the trouble shooting solutions on the 360 website about the 360 freezing then it's already about to give you the ring of death meaning it's on it's way out you need to call support tell them you have the three red light ring they will send you a box to your house so that you can package your 360 and send it in for repair or they will most likely send you a new console.

  12. it could be the game, do you take good care of your games. if you dont and you wanna fix them try this. rub tooth past from the center out dont go in a circle direction (the course particles in toothpaste will buff out scratches). then wipe off with a 100% cotton cloth. and clean in a pot of boiling watter. to do this bring water to a boil and drop disk shiny side down into water move around with tongs and pull out after about 5 seconds and dry with cotton cloth. trust me this is great for game problems. but if that is not it try adjusting where it sits so it get better air flow.

  17. It could be many things causing it, most of all possibly overheating.  If you have had your xbox 360 for quite some time, it will build up a nice collection of dust due to all the ventilation it requires to keep itself cool.  Dust is a machine's number one enemy for keeping cool.

What you will need to do is purchase three things to ensure that your xbox runs cleanly.

    1.  A can of air to blow out the excessive dust in the inside of your xbox.  Get into every litle crevas inside of the machine; every hole and port.

    2.  You will need to pick up an Xbox 360 cooler.  Gamestop or other places usually sell them for a reasonable price ($20 - $40).  It attaches to the back of your xbox where the most ammount of heat is expelled and assist is in getting cooler, faster and keeping it cool longer.

    3.  The last is optional but always good.  You will need to pick up an xbox lens cleaner to help clean the eye and keeps games from erroring.
