  1. Mabe you could seperate them and put them in opposite sides of the house.  Then he would think that you got rid of the Amazon, and would start loving you again.

  2. Greys easily attach themselves to one person if allowed too

and not handled by other's early in their lives.

So for two years your bird has been your best friend ~ and

You have been his/her best, if not Only friend.

Now comes not only another bird into his/her life, but a Green bird, plus an Amazon!

Cockatoo's and Greys don't like green birds generally.

Remember the birds we keep are Flock creatures and to be happy and feel secure they must feel apart of the Flock, which is you ~ You, hopefully are the Flock Leader in your birds mind, which means you have turned your back on your bird - rejected him, in his mind and emotions by bringing into the home, his/her home this new bird.

So, in order to help your Grey feel secure and loved again you must, slowly and over time re-build his trust in you.

He is emotional very upset with you and displays this in his biting behaviors.

For now, don't try to handle him, start with talking to him often and even from other parts of the home, he'll hear you.

Birds pick up on our emotions, then respond to that emotion so you need to be calm and happy when talking to him.

If he talks, try saying what he say's to get him talking to you, or teach him new thing's to say and do spend time talking to him while looking him in the eye.

Give him a treat daily, sing to him, but let him know you still love him and everything is okay.

Never let the grey and amazon out together either.

Good Luck, you can do this-:)
