Why does my aftermarket stereo turns off when the car is off?

I noticed this like 3 days ago, and today I was washing my car but it was turning on and off, but after I turned the car on, it did not turn of anymore do you guys know why? and what can I do to fix this problem!

Thats wht it was made to do, was to turn off when the car is turned off, but you should take it to a shop to wire it right.

well i have had the same problem before as well, mine was in an older car and it had to do with condensation getting to the deck it self. Now if your stereo runs fine while the car is running and shuts off when the car shuts off, then you have to relocate or find a new secondary power supply. Just make sure the deck is not getting wet while you are washing your car! And make sure the battery and fuse box to the car are also protected from the water!
