Why does my amp keep cutting out!!!

Question

I have a 12" kicker 600 rms wattage, 1200 max

with a 620 watt power acoustik amp

my music plays for about 10 mins and cuts on and off

what can i do to stop this??

turn down the db?level? or anything else?

Check your connections, make sure your amp is the correct amp for your subs as well. Make sure your impendence match. You could have the wrong amp/sub combo which is over heating it which causes it to shut down. Make sure your amp is what is cutting out and not your sub. Check and see if the light on your amp is shutting off when this happens to rule out a bad connection to your sub
