  1. cause it needs water to wash the clothes

  2. The seal on the solenoid that shuts the water off is bad. An easy cheap fix.

  3. the outlet pipe too small

  4. Inlet valve jammed open? its electro-magnetically controlled.

  5. The waste water pipe may be blocked or the filter may need cleaning on the pump.

  6. I take it the problem is that it does not drain.

    Is there a blockage?

    Does the pump work

How old is it if over 5/10 years and it is the pump or an electo/mechanical fault get shut of it, but if it is a blocked pipe clear it and think again

  7. errrm...i'm going out on a limb here...but maybe to wash the clothes???????

  8. could be the  supply solenoid valve is faulty and not shutting off or the water level sensor is blocked or failed thus it cant 'see' when it has enough water (correct level) and keeps putting more water in.

its not for the man in the street to mess with the electrical side of a machine and ideally a repair engineer should attend it. there may? be a site where more specific  advise can be obtained as to make of machine etc and what to check.

  9. Its knackerd she needs a new one,

  10. to wash

  11. If you mean that it is filling with too much water, then you will need to check the filter and clean it of things such as hair or dirt. The position of the filter on a washing machine varies with the model however, they are generally behind a little door on the bottom right of the front-end of the machine and will probably un-s***w
