  1. A right hander who hit the ball to the right is hitting a slice , not a hook. This is usually the sign of a faulty swing. Get help from a friend who understands the swing or seek out a teaching pro for a couple of basic lessons. You will enjoy the game much more.

  2. the way you swing with the club comes in contact with the ball go see a teaching pro that's the best money spent ask around in your area and see who people recommend

  3. If you're RH and the ball goes right, it's a slice, hook would be left.  Sounds like you have an inside out swing plane, which would have the club head open at impact (facing to the right).  There are many factors involved, grip, stance, swing plane.  The best thing would be to have someone who knows the golf swing watch you to see what your doing and make adjustments.

  4. I have the same problem and my coach said that I don't my hips aren't moving all the way to look start a head and your hips should be parell

  5. When You Hold the Club Try and Make it so you cant see your knuckles on your Index Finger, middle finger and ring finger on your right hand(May be uncomftorable but helps) and keep your elbow in aswell

  6. Me too.

My friend always ask me to practise, practise and practise :/

  7. It is not a hook.  You are pushing the ball right since you apparently do not have a slice.   Take a lesson.  It would be worth for your problem.

  8. I am guessing you are just getting started in golf. Good for you.

Right handed hitters hit Slices ( or Fades) to the right. Slices being in error and Fades are by design. Hooks (or Draws) are hits to the left.

Hooks being in error.  Most likely at the time of impact the club face is not perpendicular to your target thus leaving the club face open. The face needs to be closed at the time of impact. Very similar to the position they are in at address.  However, No one not even Tiger himself can help you with your swing. Take lessons ! from a certified PGA teaching pro. A one hour lesson with him will give you a season of "stuff" to work on.  Learn TEMPO !...I watched Fred Couples video about tempo and it changed my game dramatically !

  9. I ave same problem until i got some brilliant tips. Its all about balance and practice. I will recommend you this guide. http://sb7.org/Hit-The-Ball-Straight-Gua...

It really carry some awesome tips. enjoy:)

  10. Try a closed stance and swing with more tempo.

  11. My first Golf Pro told me at my first lesson.  "The ball will always go where you hit it."  ( Your ball does not hook it slices")  Lessons and practice will correct this for you real quick.

  12. No matter how you stand, how you hold the club, how you start your back-swing or whatever it comes down to this simple question:

As your club strikes the ball in what direction is the club travelling?

For you to be slicing your club HAS to be moving from outside to in (i.e. moving from further away from your body to closer in - albeit at an angle).  You are cutting the ball & imparting clockwise spin on the ball.  On the other hand if your swing takes the clubface from inside to out (closer to your body & moving outwards at an angle) you will draw or hook the ball.

The key/secret is to at moment of impact have the clubface square against the ball so it travels straight.  Or so close to square on that you'll only be putting a little bit of spin & therefore producing either a fade or draw; not a dreaded slice or hook.

So take some practise swings, look at the arc the clubhead is making and imagine what spin it will be putting on the ball at impact.  If you understand that you go a long way to understanding & controlling your swing & therefore ball flight.  You can even manufacture purpose spin shots depending on your predicament.

    Good luck.

  13. its probably the way that you have your feel aligned. try different positions until you find the right one

  14. In that case it would slice to the right,Practice your swing.
