Why does my bike conk out it had brown stuff in bottle next to battery cleaned it out it starts ticks over?

for 5 min then conks its a aprilia af1 futura is it a big problem or just need engine cleaned will it burn the rubbish out by it tickin over. how do i fix so it dont conk out.

hi again...cleaning the exspantion tank out will not make any differance to the bike conking out more likelly youve a blockage in the carb..it will have to be removed and cleaned...if you give me 10 mins,i will email you a manual for the bike..its for the rs125 but they use the same rotax engine...let me know if theres any thing else u need..

Your head gasket has gone.....Futuras are well known for it.

Remove the fairings, drain coolant from engine........remove cylinder....replace gasket.....flush cooling system through.........refill with fresh coolant......problem solved.

When the gasket goes in these it allows the combustion cylinder to fill with steam and it knackers the combustion cycle.

sounds like you need a coolant flush. I'm not sure what tickin over is so....

Is the temp guage through the roof? It coulld be shutting off because it's too hot.

There has to be some other symptoms you're leaving out or not noticing. Not enough info to go on here.
