  1. this is baaaaaaaaaaaad. what color is it? and what does it look like? is it a boy?

  2. GET THAT BIRD TO YOUR REGULAR VET. it doesn't have to be a special avian vet, all vets know wat a bird's butt should look like. if it is not what it should look like, your vet will refer you, or at least he or she should.

oh and as mostpeople have alreay told you it may be something serious and if it is what i think it is your bird 's life may be in danger ='[

  3. your bird is most likely eggbound , they ccan die from this .. you need to take her to the vet asap , cuz if you wait too long she will die from it .

  4. WOw!!! I got babies i don't know what to do mine aren't  grown yet may be check to see if she get trouble to p**p or research foods that purge or give her diheria

  5. It is possible IF she developed an egg, the egg broke, and if you think you are seeing like feathered something, plus matter of sorts attached and from the vent/butt.

Problem is if in fact the egg did break inside of her she needs a Good Avian Vet ASAP! Or she will die.

Look at her droppings/p**p. Are they larger than normal and greener than Norm and very loose and messy.

Another sign of hen having an egg inside her.

    Is there any blood?

BUT ~ ~ depending on if you know what you are looking at or not, could be a piece of food she's eaten or something else she swallowed.

Psst - Vent, not rear end.

  6. Avian vet!  That is definitely not normal!  I don't think it's possible for an egg to hatch inside her because if it stayed in there that long, it would've already killed her.  It is possible, though, for an egg to break inside a bird, which is extremely dangerous.  Whatever this is, it is clearly a serious medical attention-requiring problem!

  7. You need to put your birds "vent" (feet and all) in hot (105 degrees) water and get her to relax so the muscles can release the egg, if that is what it is.  If it's a prolapsed r****m, she needs to see an avian vet to be checked for Yolk Peritonitis.  If your bird has Yolk Peritonitis, it will die from it.  So it's imperative you know what your bird is suffering from to know how to treat it properly.

Feel free to email me if you need more help!!

  8. yes your right, take her to the vet, she could be egg bound, so take her to the vet.
