Why does my bottom lip twitch?

Most people are use to their eye lid twitching. But just this last week my bottom lip has begun to twitch. I cant control it and it's quite noticeable. My sister thought I was about to cry and I told her it was just twitching. What does that mean? Is is something bad like the symptoms of a stroke?

 how have you formed the assumption she  is young by the fact she has a sister?

Sometimes its a stress related thing other times your diet plays a part in it such as a diet low in potassium such as fruit and veg... hope this eases your mind :D
