Why does my boxer dog always pick up one of his toys when he is excited?

-my other boxer also did this, but sadly he passed away just over 2 months ago :(

Are you ok? Did the other dog get sick or sad? He just wants to play and he loves his toys! I had a chihuahua and a cat and the cat passed away and my chihuahua was sad and depressed for a while.

my boxers also do this i have 2, my oldest one always brings me a toy when i come home from work :)

and they also pick them up and throw them about and go mad lol, i love my dogs :)
