Why does my brother hate me? How can i make it better?

I'm becoming really sad. I have 3 brothers. One of them doesn't like me. we used to talk all the time. Now, he can't even be in the same room as me. I never did anything to him. Except tell on him, but thats only because i felt that was the right thing. Now that I'm older i understand that was the wrong thing. he hates me. he thinks I'm dumb and i don't know anything. Why doesn't he like to talk to me?

another thing is. he can speak Spanish and english and i can speak english and polish. But i want to learn Spanish. Why won't he teach me Spanish in his free time?

Are you sure that is the reason why he 'hates' you?

I personally have a younger brother but I don't see it as that. He is 15 and I'm 16, I hate him. I hate him with all my heart and all though my family feels that "How can you be saying that?". He is greedy, self centered, doesn't give a c**p about anything other than him. He steals my parents cash, mine, my little brother's and sister's! They are 10 and 8 but he doesn't understand that. He fights with everyone in my family all the time. My little brother once decided to move out of the house (to my grandpa's) because of how much he was tired of him. My little sister admit he hates him. She can't be in the same room with him since she knows she will call him 'f****s' 'w***e' 'r****d' SHE'S 8!

I think that is the main reason why I hate him, how he acts towards others.

Anyways, I said what I just said to show you my situtation (maybe you can relate to it somehow) but try and talk to him and find out why? why he hates you so much? If nothing goes well show him how you feel and I know it can be hard but show him you're sad.

Other than that, there is a possibility that it might be him with the problem (he can't get over that you told on him). Also try and apologize but actually show you meant it.

Maybe he doesn't hate you maybe he is mad at you. Try talking to him. Do something to re-break the ice.

i agree with the one above me.

He shouldnt still be mad at you for something you did when you were younger.Try talking to him about it, and your other brothers for support. It will be hard to ignore him because hes your brother and you love him, but stay strong and eventually i think he will come around to forgiving you.

My advice would just be to talk to him, You sounded young when you 'told on him'.

If he is still ignoring you, i think personally he sould grow up.

It couldnt have been that bad.

He isnt worth your time if he is going to treat you like that - Just focus on having a good time with your other brothers for now, im sure he will Miss you.

JUST SIT DOWN AND TALK TO HIM BROTHER/SISTER TO BROTHER AND LET HIM KNOW HOW YOU FEEL.....YOU HAVE TO WORK ON WHAT IS BOTHERING HIM ABOUT YOU...GET HIM TO OPEN UP.

Obviously, if he's not talking to you, he won't teach you Spanish. Did you tell on him about drugs/s*x or anything like that. If so, he probably planned on nobody finding out, and once you told, he felt devastated. If you didn't tell on that sort of stuff, maybe he's just agitated. Is something else going on with him? Or, I heard that men can get mood swings like women, and take their anger out on anyone. Maybe, that's the case, but it's hard to know about men and their moods. Just ask what his prob. is, and sit down for a chat with him. Make sure you include that you didn't think it would've been  a big deal to tell, and you are truly looking forward to getting back into the old days.
