Why does my brother keep grabbing my legs?

He is 1 and can't talk but can walk. I am 14. Also when I am watching him for my mom I have to take my dogs to the bathroom. As soon as I open the door and he hears the alarm beep (it chimes when a door or window opens) he stand up and runs over to me whining and grabs my legs. What is his deal? I don;t go outside with the dogs I have a retractable leash andI stand in the doorway and they use the bathroom in the yard.

HE is actually my half brother and his om has half custody. He comes over only every other weekend and fridays.

Maybe he fells comfortable around you. wants to be close to you,

Probably he scared and wants attention so he  grabs the leg. He's only one years old, so what do you expect. Hes a toddler, they all need the love and attention

I hope you don't have kids in the near future because you won't ever have common sense to know that he's scared of the alarm.

Um, he's a year old. Probably the thought of you leaving scares him, so he wants to be with you.

He thinks you are his momma probably. I guess he is just a little scared and needs to be hugged. :D

It scared hi when the alarm goes off.  He is running to you for comfort.  He feels safe with you.  PIck him up and hold him.  Let him know that is just the alarm.  Show him what it does when you open the door.  

DO not worry about who has custody.  Just be thankful of the time you have with him.  He is a child, and they deserve a loving family no matter who's genes they share.
