Why does my brothers voice changer make noises when he puts it against his hand?

  1. because we are full of electricity - seriously. your body is controlled from the brain by minute elctrical signals - and even muscles move by electrical stimulation. so you literally have an electronic circuit running through your body. and this causes (extremely weak) static fields which can distort appliances that are sensitive to this thing.


  2. Because the microphne is sensing the very quiet noise of his blood pumping and tries to convert it like it would a voice.

Any electronic device has lots of capacitors and inductors, when these are put together they can act as a basic radio receiver.  Because our bodies are made of electrical conductors we make excellent antannae/ariels.  Of cours a voice changer is going to have a speaker to, so with all of that put together you never know what you might pick up.

    You can also extend the range of your car key/remote by pressing it against your body.
