Why does my browser go to google when i want to search when i type in yahoo search?

the search forms in your browser might be mixing up the search engines.

if you go to (Internet Explorer) tools>options>General tab>Search: Settings,

change Google to default.

then clear the cookies in tools>delete browsing history.  This might or might not work.

If it doesn't, in "delete browsing history," clear the "saved forms"

in Firefox, go to tools>options>privacy>saved forms
