Why does my budgie keep picking at its poo hole?

Well I just got it yesterday and it's hardly pooping and it keeps picking at it's poo hole. Help please!

Like the person above said...find an AVIAN vet.  Not every vet knows birds.  Some birds get a parasite called Giardia.  Usually if they get this they pick at their bottom.

There is a huge difference between self mutilation and regular grooming. birds groom almost constantly, it could be regular grooming you are seeing. I suggest you locate a board certified avian vet (you can call around and find one ) and get your birdie in for a well bird checkup.

there will be magets there or it is realy itchy so if i was you i would put something on it
