Be certain that the clicking noise is actually caused by the beak coming together and isn't actually a clicking in his breathing.  Air sac mites are a common problem in canaries and if caught soon enough, can be treated.  Left untreated they will kill the bird.  If you have any doubt that the clicking is caused by respiration, please take your canary to an avian vet.

  3. Does he look relexed when he does it. If yes then it means he happy, contant, or in a good mood.

  4. My canary clicks his beak too. I was paranoid that he might have mites but he only does it once in a while then stops. He jumps around, flies, eats, and gets into every corner of his cage so I don't think it's mites. He's probably just happy he's out of the petstore lol
