Why does my car alarm goes off when the emergency lights are left on when its locked?

I live in an apartment, sometimes i just park the car where i'm not suppose to park it. I press the emergency button( both signals flesh on and off) , i get off and press the remote to lock my car. After a few seconds the alarm goes off...why is that?

Does it mean the ppl who installed my car security alarm did a lousy job, or its suppose to happen????

Just the flasher ticking can set off the inside sencer if it's set to lite. Go back to them and see what they can do for you. If it hasn't been to long it will still be under warranty

If it does it right after you set the alarm then I would say that the main brain assembly is bad, but at the same time have them run a complete check on the system.
