  1. the carb is out of adjustment, the plug wires are on wrong, the timing is off, the fuel pump isn't feeding enough to the carb, the filter is plugged, cracked carb gasket, manifold leak, bad gas,  cracked distributor cap, or maybe it something else ? bad lead wire to the distributor--loose maybe and moving around not staying up in the clip on the cap,  ?  idle is too low and mix could be off........... lots of little annoying things can do this.. start on the top of list and work your way down. or look harder and maybe you'll see the problem. you get frustrated and miss the easy stuff.. cool off and check again.. good luck on it. almost forgot--the vacuum modulator on the trans could be leaking too.

  2. My guess is you have the idle too low and the additional load of putting it in gear is making it stall. Raise your idle speed if it's under whatever is normal for a 350 and then check it again.

  3. Natalia, he asked a technical question. Not your opinion on the reliability of the whole d**n company. When people have a question they do not want to read all your bs answers. If anyone is in favor of booting Natalia off of this site. Please let me know. I am in the process, and getting all kinds of names towards this cause. So please feel free to contact me. Unlike Natalia I can be contacted.Sorry I didnt help with your question. I am just so sick of all this GM bashing that she does.

  4. you've given us just enough information to narrow it down to compression, spark or fuel.
