I have a 99 accorde coupe v6 and randomly my car wont start. I dont think its the battery or altenator because its actually trying to start, and im not sure its the starter, cuz it sounds normal after turning the key, the engine is just not starting. It seems this only happens when my car is outside exposed to the very hot sun. Is this just a sensor problem? Could this be a fuel issue? Please help!

  1. sorry idk

  2. my guess, you need new plugs, wires, and rotor button.  It sounds like your old wires insulation is worn out, letting moisture from the humidity to collect on the wires.

  3. Check the Distributor cap, It's what all the spark plugs are plugged into.

  4. it may be something called 'vapor lock'.  i don't really know the mechanics of it, but it's a fuel related issue that arises on very hot days.  try looking into that.
