Why does my cat's fur shed near her tail?

No rash. Just a balding spot. No cat doors for it to rub on.

  1. This could be all sorts of things. If she is not having any other symptoms them I would just wait and see. If any thing else is happening I would evaluate and decide. If it appears to be a health problem then make that appointment.


  2. what cat?...wait, oh yeah. i don't know. if it keeps happeing and if it gets worse, take the kitty to the vet

    A.) Stressed

    B.) Allergic to something in your home

    C.) Have irritated skin making it scratch.

    My cat always scratches her tail a lot in the winter because her skin gets dryer than it does in the summer. If it gets really bad, take her to the vet.
