Why does my cat do this?

Question

why does she knock things off the coffee tables and stuff on purpose...like when she sits on them...she just takes her paw and gently pushes stuff until it falls...do all cats do this? Why do they do it? (im a first time cat owner...the only cats ive had were outside cats but this is my first time inside cat)

She  is  just  playing  around.Maybe  You  should   find  some  

thing  for  her  play  with.

She is just trying to find something to play with and maybe chase.  You should get an inexpensive small ball or stuffed mouse on a string for her to play with.  They are a number of pet toys at Dollar Stores that are inexpensive and will keep your cat amused.

My cat loves doing that too. He loves knocking things off the table next to my couch, so I put a couple of his toys and a couple of ballpoint pens on the very edge of the table. He knocks them down and plays with them on the floor, and I put them back up for next time. Is your cat young? I think they grow out of it. My mom's cat just lays on top of stuff if it's in his way!

Its normal cat behavior. shes just playing. get her some toys if you havnt already and play with her. If you dont want her on somthing or to do something get a squirt bottle and just lightly squirt her when she does something and say no . then slowly just working off the sprayer and just say no and she will learn.
