So my 14 month old kitty, Celia, has no front teeth. She has her canins, and back teeth, but the front ones are absent. It looks like there may be some growing, and she has one poking through, but she has been like that for about 5 months. It doesn't seem to slow her down, she eats fine, and they gums don't seem to be sore either, I've started masaging them, to see if that may help. She also has the 'eye herpes' thing, Where her eye goop up alot, be she takes vitamins for that. She's a calico, if that's important also. Our other cat died of FIP in march. The vet isn't worried, she plays fine, and hasn't had any problems. I don't know if that's important or not. Her check up isn't till November, so I don't know if its important enough to go to the vet now, or to wait it out. thanks for all your help, first time posting in pet section!

  1. That is very odd but they don't really need the front teeth when they are not hunting for themselves. The vet isn't worried so you shouldn't be either.

    Enjoy your calico.
